In 2002, Jayatsu AE introduced a slightly redesigned Jayatsu 530 called the Jayatsu 530n. Jayatsu AE stopped manufacturing the Jayatsu 530 and 530n in 2004 and has not created a replacement. Yoon met Edwin Richards who became interested in investing in Jayatsu America. Edwin pressured his EJR Manufacturing into investing into Jayatsu America but his son, Kevin Richards, kept on refusing. So Edwin invested in it by himself. By mid 1987, Edwin Richards had a 49% share in Jayatsu America. However, he passed away soon after. Edwin's 49% share was passed to his son, Kevin.

Jayatsu Manufacturing is a fictional Korean manufacturing company. Jayatsu builds and sells light duty construction and farm equipment. Jayatsu Manufacturing was founded in 1958 by C. Yoon. The President of Jayatsu Manufacturing is Han Lee.

Jayatsu Manufacturing was founded in 1958 by C. Yoon as Jayatsu Industrial Manufacturing.

In 1968, Jayatsu Agriculture was created. Jayatsu began manufacturing farm implements in 1971 and in 1975, the first Jayatsu tractor was released.

In 1983, Jayatsu Industrial launched Jayatsu America.

In 1986, American Edwin Richards begins investing in Jayatsu America under the name EJR2.

In 1988 Jayatsu was bought by Han Lee.

In 1989, a new partnership was formed between Jayatsu Industrial and EJR2.

In 1991, C. Yoon retired as President of Jayatsu Industrial and Han Lee becomes president.

In 1992, EJR2 was merged with EJR Manufacturing.

In 1992, a partnership was formed with EJR Manufacturing and Am-Kor Limited was created.

In 1998, LnGT International purchased 40% of Jayatsu America giving them majority ownership. LnGT also purchased a 25% share in Jayatsu Manufacturing.

In 2009, Jayatsu Industrial purchased So International from Am-Kor. So International was merged with Jayatsu Industrial and the name was changed to Jayatsu Manufacturing. Soon after, So Motors was renamed the Jayatsu Motor Company.

Jayatsu Motors was created when So International was merged with Jayatsu Industrial. So Motors was renamed to Jayatsu Motors. Jayatsu Motors is currently working on an electric car called the Jayatsu EC.
