The So EC-1 will be an electric car manufactured by So Motors. In North America, the So EC-1 will be known as the RMC Charge.
History
In 2008, it was announced that So Motors is working on an electric version of their So Car.

In early 2009, a partnership was made between So Motors and Richards Motor Company. The deal would let RMC sell the So EC-1 in North America. It was announced that the RMC Charge would only be sold in limited numbers.
It was announced in February that the RMC Charge will be mostly built in Korea in the existing So Car Plant. The parts will be sent to the United States. A new RMC Manufacturing Plant will be opened in the future where the Charge will be finished being built. Instead of opening dealerships, the RMC Charge will be sold at existing Jayatsu dealerships. Jatatsu Manufacturing owns So Motors and Am-Kor owns both Jatatsu and RMC.
