This year's contest is taking place in Phoenix, Arizona in July 2008. It was announced in July that the prize will be a free repair job on the broken XBox and $35 in cash. The event will be known as "Microsoft's XBox 360 Red Ring of Death-o-Rama Presented by Mountain Dew Game Fuel".
