Halo is a video game made by Bungie for Microsoft. It is biggest Xbox success next to Gears. So far three games have been made in the series.

Story

In the future man is fighting a war against the aliens known as the Covenant. Earth's last hope is a robot known as Master Chief. Early in the first game, the humans find "Halo" and try to discover what it is (see below). Master Chief then runs into another form of aliens known as The Flood who feed on the humans. The release of the Flood prompts 343 Guilty Spark (the annoying light bulb) to recruit the Master Chief in retrieving the Index, a device that will activate Halo and prevent the Flood from spreading beyond the facility.

Halos

The Halos were designed as extermination tools to kill The Flood. However, instead of directly killing the Flood, the ring was designed to kill the food source of The Flood. What the flood eat:

  • humans
  • cats
  • dogs
  • the Covenant
  • themselves
