Jayatsu Manufacturing was founded in 1958 by C. Yoon as Jayatsu Industrial Manufacturing. Jayatsu builds and sells light duty construction and farm equipment.

Jayatsu Manufacturing was founded in 1958 by C. Yoon as Jayatsu Industrial Manufacturing.
In 1968, Jayatsu Agriculture was created. Jayatsu began manufacturing farm implements in 1971 and in 1975, the first Jayatsu tractor was released.
In 1988 Jayatsu was bought by Han Lee. In 1993, a partnership was formed with EJR Manufacturing and Am-Kor Limited was created.
In 2009, Jayatsu Industrial purchased So International from Am-Kor. So International was merged with Jayatsu Industrial and the name was changed to Jayatsu Manufacturing. Soon after, So Motors was renamed the Jayatsu Motor Company.
