Brask's History

Brask in the FKW married a were, Alavaria, who had several children. However when Brask returned from a mission, all his children were dead, apparently slaughterd by the Gal-Zabor.

Recently Brask has recently found his only surviving daughter Jane Stewart, whom he insists on calling Felae. He hopes to convince her that the catkin have a manifest destiny that she should be part of. He is finding it slower going than he'd like, since though he cannot not admit it to himself, she is very like him, with loyalties opposite to his. While he is loyal to Felina and catkin in his way, She is loyal to Elled and humanity in hers.

Brask's Beliefs

Brask believes that catkin are the only species capable of love, that Gal-Zabor has to be destroyed in order for his species to survive. As a result of his beliefs on love he fails to understand Jane's resistance, and FB's refusal of kin advances, after all FB is human and Felae is kin, so why would she refuse love from a catkin father, yet FB demonstrate a decent approximation of love so strongly towards his wife?
