DA is the Prime Minister of Elled, and like all members of Elled's government is a mad scientist himself. He tends to specialise in light, though he has built a teleporter, which is more or less useless for battle since the only non-organic thing it can teleport is itself. One of his secrets is he is a True Magical Null. He can't cast, and so far direct magic doesn't have any effect on him. (A raised zombie or fireball generated to one side of him would still be deadly).
On the Mad-Science Line he obviously occupies the position of Tech.
Basic History
Ironically DA got his council seat by assassination. Not that he deliberately did it. A low ranking member tried to kill him and fell victim to one of DA's mad science inventions.
DA got to be PM since he was at the time one of the two candidates who hadn't annoyed the other members enough. The council members hoped that FerretBob would end up being the PM.
FB didn't really want this. However DA revealed his trump card at the last moment. Captain Saral, whose block votes enable DA to overtake FB and become PM.
What was incredible about this was the Saral line hadn't voted at all since the days of Tylor Saral.
Because of DA being a magical null, he studied a lot of magical theory to try and work out technical ways of achieving , if not the same, something similar. However in most cases he was let down by not being a junker. However he did study yogamantic theory thoroughly and as a result decided that even Kraggi wasn't insane enough to genocide catkin by that method.
Mad Science Inventions
DA has come up with several mad-science inventions,m of which most involve mainpulating some form of light. This includes holographic imagary, cloaks, and solid light. Only the first two have entered military service. Few people have the abilty to create 'solid ligt'. Joiddar is one such person but was origninnaly going the wrong way.
DA worked on the teleporter to see if he could find a way to repair the old broken ones. For some reason almost all teleporter tech is lost. And no successful replacement has been found for them. Fortunatley underground trains run pewrfectly well.
