Eithne is an Elledian foxkin and a mad scientist. Thankls to the deposition of Justin Darke and the "treachery" of FerretBob there is finally a gap for her on the Mad Scientists Council, which since its improved reputation she is determined to get on. Eithne is DA's second apprentice, after FerretBob, and would have been his heir if not for political problems generated from both foxkin and weres. These political problems meant that she has no chance of beings DA's heir, and needs to get on the council, yet must not seem to have any unfair advantages.
Of course Eithne is slightly resentful of Joiddar, even though she knows that being fxokin she could't be declared heir.
