Stone Lambert appears to be a genuinely nice guy, though this only makes his crooked manoeuvres far more successful. Having gained his position on the council by blackmail, he found he had a problem with the then current PM Justin Darke, who not only was cleverer than he was, but more skilled both as a mad-scientist and as a blood sorcerer.

When Justin Darke's secret was finally revealed, Stone Lambert voted for DA, but has now become disillusioned with the PM thanks to him not only making peace with GZ but actually allying with them.
