Bryant is a foxkin-sympathiser, notorious amongst the military for this fact and widely despised for it. He joined the War in order to support the foxkin that he was pressured into sending to War by Faer. Unknown to him, he is also being secretly followed by a were.

Appearance
Bryant is a 5'9" tall albino catkin, fairly well-built, but no body-builder. He is usually seen with his hand-held rocket launcher for protection in the jungle, and he rarely goes anywhere without his briefcase of medical tools. It's not a thin, businessman's briefcase, rather a wider one, with a similar capacity to a holdall. He is generally smartly dressed, too; when in Felina, he revelled in wearing the suits and shoes he never had access to in the refugee town.
Early Life
Refugee Town
Growing up an orphan in a refugee shanty town to the North, he had no formal education. His catkin famliy, upper-class purists (the alpha at least), abandoned him when he was a cub, leaving him outside the Felinian boarders because he was an albino. He was found and brought up amongst a group of Foxkin refugee’s, and experienced different reactions from various members of the community: some of the Foxkin treated him with fear and respect, something which he felt very uncomfortable with, and almost guilty about; others treated him with hatred and disgust, making snide comments as they passed him, some even spitting on him, or assaulting him; the more well-meaning, forward-thinking Foxkin, however, treated him as they would another Foxkin - as an equal. He had a precious few Foxkin friends, who felt that he was as much of an outcast of Felina as they were, so deserved to be treated as one of their own. One of the older Foxkin in the refugee shanty-town community acted as a tutor to him, when all of the places that passed for schools in the place rejected him. He developed a lot of gratitude and trust for her, and she was the closest thing to a mother he had ever known. He was angered and upset when she died as the result of an illness; an illness to which the cure would have been easily available in Felina. It was this that made him leave the refugee shanty town, to enter Felina and try to change things.
Felina
He kept his childhood in the refugee shanty-town secret. He was pleasantly surprised, and greatly relieved, to discover that only a minority of the population resented him for being albino, and he could easily ignore those who did; if it came to blows, he generally came out on top, due to his experiences growing up in the refugee shanty town. It was certainly easier for him to get anywhere than it was for the Foxkin that were around, something which he noted with more than a little disdain. He quickly understood that all Catkin work under a family system, and to have no family meant you would not be trusted, the government was eager however to provide new catkin with families. After proving his worth to a family by defeating the alpha in a dual, he was adopted and accepted into the family. He never really felt the closeness of family that most Catkins did, due to his circumstances; joining a family was more a formality to him, and he did as he was expected; nothing more, nothing less.
Employment
He managed to get a blood filing position, basically moving and labelling different forms of Bastian blood, a menial task whereby he had to handle the blood capsules and various samples. After a few months, he heard that the Alpha of Internal Affairs was requesting volunteers for providers and officers of the refugee colonies, near the refugee shanty town he grew up in. When he volunteered, he found that only a few desired the job, due to the fact it was serving “lowers species”, especially with Brylian’s constant speech’s to the public referring to all other life outside of catkin to be lesser and unholy. However, with his position in blood filing, more by a stroke of luck than anything else, he managed to find the blood drop for the applicants to this position, and he quite literally removed this information completely, so that he would get the position rather than some racist bigoted catkin (the type he assumed his family must have been). After being appointed the post, he tried to be fair to the Foxkin seeking asylum, sneaking them luxury items here and there, in particular to old friends, which caused him to be resented by a number of his colleagues. The commander in chief of the area recognised him as an ex-inhabitant, and as a result was particularly stringent on the supplies he approved commission of. Bryant also provided as much medication as he could; whenever somebody in a shanty town got ill to an extent where the government-sanctioned medicines were useless, they tended to call for him, and he would get the appropriate medicine for them, paying out of his own pocket; the range of medicines that the government provided was limited. Since his appointment to the position, the area which he served in the role of 'immigration officer' seemed to have an increase of inhabitants; he assumed word had spread amongst the Foxkin that the quality of life in his area could be better than other places.
Other Interests
Maintaining his role as immigration officer, he pursued two main paths whenever he returned to Kuching: learning Medicine, and trying to hunt down his biological family. He wanted to learn medicine so that he could help those in the shanty towns better, and he found that he had absolutely no magical abilities, so he had to learn the 'old-fashioned' way of healing people. He didn't want to find his family because he wanted to meet them in the hope they'd accept him, nor was it that he felt some biological desire to know his true parents. No, he wanted to hunt them down and kill the alpha of the family. He saw no place in the world for people who would abandon their own flesh and blood for being different. The way he saw it, people like them stood in the way of emancipation, his ultimate (if unrealistic) goal. That, and he was bitter.
