The best way to find stories is by using the Search Stories utility

Stories are titled using the following convention: Story/Author/Title

and then are categorized by Genre, Category:Story Languages and Theme

For example: To find a romantic Fan Fiction story about a video game written in English you would pick all in the category English, With subcategory Video Games subcategory Romance and the utility would make a search for you

You can do the same thing using the search box but the syntax is more complicated. The utility saves you time!
