The letter k first appeared in the title of Donkey Kong, where it was given two appearances: the first (from left to right) in an early childhood stage, and the next as an adult. The letter k has since gone on to be a vital character in the Mario series, and it was given its first starring role in Super "K" Bros.: Wow, Real Ninjas!.
