Zones has been a mode in all three of the Timesplitters games. In all three, opposing teams must try to get the zones their color. A player must run over a zone to change its color to their team's. When a certain amount of time passes, it will count the current zones and give points to the teams accordingly. The team with the most points at the end of the match wins. Interestingly enough, it does not count the last zone points.

Zones can be placed in mapmaker maps.
