Luke Ridnour is the starting point guard for the Seattle Supersonics. His unexpected appearance at a local movie theater has secured him among the few celebrity connections the group has maintained.

The Mountlake 9 Incident
In approximately early June of 2005, just after finishing viewing Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith, a large number of group members headed into the lobby to execute a Circle of Indecision formation and decide what course of action to take next in hanging out. Although it was fairly late and relatively few movies were left playing, a scattered amount of people were still standing in the lobby. Kevin noticed from afar a familiar face that had indeed turned out to be Luke Ridnour, fresh off a game six semifinals loss to the San Antonio Spurs and dwarfed by his much taller wife and friend/s. Kevin decided to approach Ridnour and converse with him, encouraging him on his playoff performance and query some small-talk. When it became clear that Ridnour was not interested in keeping a conversation and was displeased with the idea of drawing further public attention to himself, Kevin quickly acquired a Regal Cinemas pamphlet and asked Luke to sign it, which he promptly did. Still starstruck, Kevin rejoined the group who was unaware of the celebrity presence amongst them. They continued outside where they met briefly with a group comprised of William Costello, Tim O'Connell, Willie Curry and others. This night is not to be confused with the night Tamsyn was sighted at the same theater, which actually took place after a viewing of War of the Worlds.
Aftermath
Gavin has made repeated references to Luke Ridnour's appearance on Gavin's Sitcom, and will often ask Kevin if Ridnour is "still at the theater", attempting to view the now outdated Star Wars release. It is unclear if Ridnour had indeed attended the theater to view this particular film.
