Gundam France is a track jacket worn by Brett beginning in Summer 2005.

Origin

The jacket was purchased following an outing to the Alderwood Mall, during which time Brett discovered a sale at Hot Topic in which track jackets were less than $10. Brett happily purchased a decorative item and began wearing it while bicyling to group hang-outs.

Upon seeing the aforementioned piece of clothing, Terry was said have declared, "you look like Gundam France!" a reference to the G Gundam Series, which featured competing Gundams sponsored by various World Powers. Set in the future after a fictitious World War Three type event, Nationalism and Patriotism were important themes in the TV series and were thus expressed in the style and architecture of each nation's Gundam. Terry found Brett's track jacket to strongly resemble Neo France's National Gundam, Gundam Rose (referred to as Gundam France at the time because Terry could not remember the official title).

Look

Gundam France is mostly dark blue, with horizontal white stripes running toward the also white zipper at a slow angle. There is also a larger red stripe on each sleave, and a red star with white outline above the chest. The pattern intended to convey faux patriotism, along with the likely intention for this jacket not to be used during physical activity have led some to speculate that this is an example of Brett being ironic.

A really gay picture:
