(June 04-February 05): Jenny, or "J. Bear" as some like to call her, was Andy's first girlfriend of note (whatever that means). Well, his first official one at least. The two met during the opening weeks of the freshman year when she and Andy decided to watch Alias down the the Mercer 1-West lounge. Andy had been dishonorably kick out from his room for the evening becuase his then-roommate Di had been having "issues" and Andy felt uncomfortable around crying men at that time in his life. Jenny was downstairs to watch her favorite tv show becuase her friend Liz (whom she had known from high school) was living on the 1st floor with Andy. Some romantics may have interpreted the meeting of the two as fate, but Andy disregards this statement as "just crap". As he does with every new girl he meets, Andy made an ass of himself during the first encounter when he asked if Liz or Jenny had known how to do calculus (the ehomework he had been working on), only to find out that both girls were already in advanced calculus.
From this point on, meeting between the two grew to become a rarity. Jenny had moved her Alias watching back to her native 4th floor, and Andy had decided to loyally stay down on the first floor despite thinking she was "cute". This of course was a stupid move and Andy regrets this to this day. Nevetheless, Jenny and Andy crossed paths again sometime in spring quarter when Andy, who had absolutely nothing to do, was hanging out in the lounge and spotted Jenny speeding by. She was coming back from dinner and had apparently a lot of homework to do so she did not spot him. Just as she passed him by, Andy stopped the fiery brunette and began to give her a hard time about not watching Alias with him and Liz anymore. She looked perplexed, but obliged to start coming down to the first floor more often.
After their chance enocunter, Jenny and Andy began to watch Alias again downstairs every week and soon began to just hang out and do homework out there more often. They were joined by fellow lounge-rats Jim, Liz, and Jason R. Andy admired Ejnny's fiery attitude, her "accent", and doey eyes, but being the compelte idiot he always is, he decided to formally pursue a girl named "Sally", who had lived on his floor. Every single day he talked about how he would ask out Sally to Jenny, and every single day Jenny ignored him and did her physics homework. It is still unknown exactly why Andy chose to pursue Sally instead of Jenny then, but experts agree that he was just "plain wrong" in his decision. As weeks passed by, the two grew closer together. A famous incident that is still talked of today details an account of how Andy sprinted to another dorm and sprinted back in 2 minutes to simply buy Jenny some ice cream. By early June Andy finally worked up the courage to ask out Jenny and asked her to see Troy. The pair had seen Ella Enchanted before becuase Andy wanted to see Anne Hathaway, so Andy decided to watch a movie she would enjoy: something with Brad Pitt. From this point on the couple grew closer together and eventually began to date. Famous incidents of their relationship include: Andy elbowing Jenny in the ehad on accident, gummie bear fights, and the rivalry of Jamie and Jenny. The relationship carried on for over eight months and ended on good terms. Jenny and Andy still remain good friends.
