As they rounded a sharp turn, Ganesh (already travelling at around 35 miles per hour) hit his gas pedal within a stone's throw of Shoreview Park, accelerating some 5 or 10 more miles per through the turn. The car, keeping it's inertia, slid laterally, missing a "windy road" sign by inches and landing in a ditch at a 45 degree angle. Following, there were looks of amazement between the companions. A few good Samaritans chose to stop and attempt to aid Ganesh. One, with a rope and driving a truck, tried to tow Ganesh's vehicle out of the defile. These ultimately did not work, and Ganesh had to call his father, who subsequently called AAA. Ganesh's father was extremely angry, and Ganesh was grounded.
It is also noteworthy that no one was hurt in the slightest during the ordeal, possibly due to Rama Fortune.
