As they rounded a sharp turn, Ganesh (already travelling at around 35 miles per hour) hit his gas pedal within a stone's throw of Shoreview Park, accelerating some 5 or 10 more miles per through the turn. The car, keeping it's inertia, slid laterally, missing a "windy road" sign by inches and landing in a ditch at a 45 degree angle. Following, there were looks of amazement between the companions. The awkward silence was finally broken by a resounding "YOU JACKASSES!" coming from an irrate Rama.

During the Senior year of their high school careers, Ganesh, Rama and John Chang were attending Shoreline CC through the Running Start Program. On one fine spring day, Rama and Ganesh were about to return to Shorewood for their afternoon classes. John Chang saying that he was running late, asked Ganesh for a ride to his PE class, whichwas meeting at Shoreview Park. By the time the trio reached Ganesh's car, John's class was less than four minutes from beginning. As Ganesh started the car, he promised John he would drive with haste. As the young man made his way down the hill on that Windy Road by Stuart's John egged Ganesh on, chanting "faster, faster" with an ever increasing tempo.

A few good Samaritans chose to stop and attempt to aid Ganesh. One, with a rope and driving a truck, tried to tow Ganesh's vehicle out of the defile. These ultimately did not work, and Ganesh had to call his father, who subsequently called AAA. Ganesh's father was extremely angry, and Ganesh was grounded.

It is also noteworthy that no one was hurt in the slightest during the ordeal, possibly due to Rama Fortune.
