MOG was a group started by Gavin and Terry in elementary school, based off a disk that Terry was naming that included the name "Hot Mog". The original name was completely unrelated to either the John Candy character in Spaceballs or the character in Final Fantasy III. It eventually came to represent an acronym for "Monkeys Overthrowing Governments" (?).

MOG intially was limited to a few individuals, but began a major recruiting drive Sophomore Year when Gavin wanted to get as many people to join as possible. While many individuals were barely aware of their enlistment, the group did provoke notable loyalty from Jamie and Andrew Carson. Carson proved to be willing to kick people in return for promotions, and for a while his truck and Brett's airplane were the two non-human members.

The original website is still online.[1]
