During sophomore year of high school, Kevin, Terry, and Jeremy were members of Mr. Moreno's Cartooning Class. This event helped bolster relationships among the three, which culminated in the founding of the Nerd Pack.

Works of Kevin included:

  • A nine-panel cartoon which detailed the transformation of a Mega Man helmet into a block of swiss cheese
  • A visual depiction of the quote "I came, I saw, I conquered."

Works of Terry included:

  • A visual depiction of the quote "killing two birds with one stone."

Works of Jeremy included:

  • An inexplicable visual depiction of the quote "when in Rome, do as the Romans do" which featured heads in fish bowls.
  • A artwork portfolio consisting of a giant Weezer =W=

Historical Significance

The historical implications of this event were incredibly far-reaching. One was the introduction of the Get Up Kids by Kevin into the group's musical mainstream.
