Silver Tongue

One spell you found is called 'Lingua Argentum' or 'Silver Tongue'. The description says it will give you the "Gift of Gab". You think about Shelly, your average-looking dorm neighbor who can talk anyone, including gorgeous hunks, into bed. With your more generous physical attributes and that kind of talking ability, you could have everyone eating out of your hand. This would also be less detectable than if you suddenly grew two breast sizes.
You decide to try Silver Tongue out. Unlike last time, you memorize the counter-spell, just in case you need it. There are a few items you need to cast the spell: liquor, incense, a candle, and salt. You know Joan has a bottle of tequila hidden in the closet, and she's also 'borrowed' one of the salt shakers from the dining hall. You have no candles or incense; you'll have to make a run to the store. Unless Melissa down the hall could lend you some. She's always burning incense to cover up the grass she smokes, and you've seen the candles she has for romantic interludes.
Before you know it, you're knocking on Melissa's door. The door opens to the short brunette in a long tee shirt and bare legs. She's pretty in a girl next door kind of way.
"Hey, Mel. Can I borrow a candle and some incense? I've got a date, and I'd like some mood elements for later."
"Sure, I've got extras. Hey, that's great you've got a date. You've been so serious lately, just studying and working, that we've been worried about you," Melissa said as she grabbed a pack of incense and a votive. "Here. Enjoy."
"Thanks, Mel. You're a life saver." You smile at her as you turn to leave. You head back to your room and lock the door.
