You find them on her night stand, and you pop open the clamshell package. 20 tiny pills are arranged in a semi-circle with 8 empty slots-- they look very close to your chromium supplements you take along with your vitamins. You do the math in your head and know that she's six days from her ovulation. You take the pill package to your room, pour out 20 chromium tablets, and pop out birth control pills. You put the mineral supplements in place of the birth control pills. Lisa can tease all she wants, claiming to miss pills or whatever, but now she's unprotected no matter what she does. You return the clamshell to her purse in her room.
