BftD: Peering into the dark

You decide that a thorough examination calls for easier arm movement, and probably even being able to move your head, so you set to loosening up the holes you recently made.

You spend a bit more time feeling the sides and lid of the coffin. Smooth metal, not as cold as you expected. Maybe even buffed, by its texture. You feel about the bottom... Near the sides, the bottom rises up a little in small steps, then ends just short of the side. Just below this, of course, another metal bottom. It seems you're laying on a piece of metal independent from the coffin, though you can't slide it around, so... maybe it isn't independent.

Grasping at straws, now, you feel around in the pockets of your pants for anything that could be useful. In one pocket, there's almost certainly a credit card, and a couple crumpled bills, plus loose change. In the other, something hard and flat, one of its sides smooth, probably some sort of electronic device. A phone maybe? Your hopes pick up. Maybe, if you're not too deep underground, you could call someone to get help! Your hopes don't last long. You don't have a clue where you are, so how could you possibly ask for help over the phone? Even so, you can probably think of a way for this find to be helpful.

What do you do?

• I'll check the call history, maybe there's someone of use in there.
• I'll poke around with it, see if it has any built-in tools I could use.
