You stride into the rift.
As its enchantment draws you in, you feel no panic, just serenity. A bright white obscures your vision. The light fades to reveal that you are standing in a courtyard of a great castle. To the left of you there is a well and a figure in weathered robes is collecting water. Directly in front of you is a table with some objects (which you cannot make out), and to the right is the mother of all doors.
