You wake up. The first thing you notice is your pounding head. Against your better judgment, you open your eyes.
You're in a strange room. How did you get here?
Like a bad assistant who just won't take a hint, it all comes back to you.
Yesterday was supposed to be your day of glory. You had your heat ray firmly pointed at the polar icecaps, then He defeated your legions of doom, deactivated your heat ray, saved his girlfriend, and blew up your moon base.
You escaped in a shuttle, but His techie friend had managed to sabotage that too. Instead of landing at your secret base in the volcano, you crash landed in Toronto. Following that, you rented a hotel room with the little petty cash you had on you, then proceeded to get as drunk as possible. After that, you can't remember anything.
That explains your headache. Unfortunately, you never did perfect that hangover elixer, so you do the best you can with asprin.
Now, to figure out what you're going to do next:
