You go down the stairs.
They lead you to a dank, dark hallway. In some places, little puddles of fetid water stand. It smells funny. You come to an intersection. The right hand passage is dank and leads to a door. A slightly drier path leads left, and the air from that direction has a musty smell. Which way should you go?
