You swagger on in with the rest of the team. The bartender winks at the coach and passes out mugs to everyone. You tip your head back and take a long swallow of good, cold beer.
A big-breasted woman in a tight, sequined costume walks past, hips swaying.
"Hold on a minute," the coach says. "Cherry, I'd like you to meet Jack, my star player."
"Hello, Jack," Cherry says, smiling broadly. "I only have a moment before I'm due up on stage."
She gestures at the stage sitting in the middle of the bar.
