Description: Yuu has browny-black hair that's usually gelled into lazy spikes and muddy brown eyes. Outside of school he normally wears tank tops and baggy trousers, in school he wears his uniform and trainers. He also wears and onyx bracelet that Sasoru bought him to "protect him from harm"

He grew up in Kyoto Japan, the middle of 3 children, when he was a baby it was clear something was wrong with his eyes, a visit to the doctor's confirmed he could lose his sight, after several operations his vision was saved but he continues to have poor vision and requires glasses when trying to look at anything far away or in detail.

At 7 he got into a fight at school with another boy, after a vicious 15 minutes, both boys emerged with numerous cuts and bruises and the begginings of a deep friendship, they stayed friends to this day, going so far as to call each other "soulmates". Sasoru to Yuu: "if you lost your sight, I would gladly be your eyes.." Yuu to Sasoru: "even if you lose everything and fall into Hell, I will be by your side"

Due to his love of guitar and rock, he formed an indies band with some friends and convinced Sasoru to join, as Sasoru took over vocals the band gained fast popularity in thier hometown and began to gain attention from a few indies labels.

When Sasoru's parents moved to America, Yuu decided to follow his friend, convincing his parents to let him leave Japan and go to live with his friend in America was difficult, but he persevered and, with money taken from the trust fund left him by his grandparents, he followed his friend, detirmined to succeed in thier dream of becoming rock stars.

Sasoru Kamui: Best friend since primary school. Other: Yuu would follow Sasoru anywhere, he carries a bunch of small pictures you get a photo booths with him that he convinced Sasoru to take once and hasn't let Sasoru see them to this day.
