Slatos is strong in spirit, confident in his abilities and those of the ones around him. Far from overbearing, he leads by example, though when he chooses to speak he is loud and exciting.
[edit] Appearance
Ryphocles' hair is platinum, a brighter shade of silver than the blades of his weapons, and relatively short, albeit somewhat messy. It grows whiter by the day, a combination of his natural platinum hair color and his age manifesting itself. His face, though beginning to wrinkle only slightly, shows the exotic Lequallian tan, complementing his confident light brown eyes that often don't display the wear of 53 years.
He has a thick neck, which is only to be expected—he is large and strong, in fact massive by Lequallian standards. Lequallians are typically short, but he is an even six feet, and weighing in at over 200 pounds, almost all of which is solid, packed muscle, making him the ideal fighter and leader of the Enforcement Branch. His armor, complete with spiked shoulder-plates, is pure gold, set with lavender-purple trim identical to the shirt he wears under it. The armor is large, moderately thick, with a wide-set chest-plate whose upper center extends a bit. His thin mouth often bears a smile.

Ryphocles was a man who was wasn’t raised in a Marshal house. Although he was born and raised in a family that was a very wealthy. When Ryphocles was five years old he noticed that he was larger than the other kids in his age group. He felt awkward and was not communicating with his fellow peers, although this did not faze him. As he got older he had exceptional talent in fighting, because of his size and his overall physique.
When he was 7 he asked his parents to let him start his training in the Agoge. When Ryphocles asked his parents were not pleased with his request. They wanted him to become a political man, like his father. When his parents could not sway him they approved of his training. As he went to the Agoge he noticed other children their and they were fairly large also. Some even larger than Slatos, this time when he tried to make friends, Ryphocles easily did. Everyone in the Agoge had the same goal, to become the one of the elite that is already created. As the years passed in his Agoge training he grew stronger and more skilled; however, he was excelling at a faster pace than the other in his group.
This is when the Hoplon Guard took notice of him; Ryphocles was moved to a new 6-man group. This group was the candidates that the Hoplon Guard was intrigued with. The leader was a Hoplon Guard member in a disguise. The training was more intense and the leader trained with each of them individually. Even with the candidates of the Hoplon Guard he was excelling even against them. The Hoplon Guard knew that he should be in the Guard. When Ryphocles graduated from the Agoge, he was confronted by two Hoplon Guard members, one front the Enforcement Branch and the other Intelligence Branch. The Intelligence approached him because he was a smart man also. He knew how to quickly think and he could lead a group of 1000 men with no problem. They both asked him to join their respected branch, but Slatos could only choose one. So he thought about his body physique and picked the Enforcement Branch. The man then received the armor of the Hoplon Guard.
As the years passed with his years in the Enforcement Branch he grew stronger and moved up the rank. Finally he became the Pyrolusite Ore at the age of 40. He became the figure of the Enforcement Branch and for the 13 years he has been the Pyrolusite Ore and is never once thinking of stepping down. He believes that he will only step down when he is killed or cant be able walk again.
