Mahalo is calm and serene, as are most of his tribe in reality, most unlike the image most likely thought of them by more "civilised" individuals. In battle as in life he rarely yells, and lets his actions speak for him.
[edit] Appearance
Mahalo is a tall fairly large and dark man who in every way looks like a subcommander. When he moves through the ranks his long brown and gray hair and shocking blue eyes (extremely rare in Kaeldar, probably meaning he is not completely of native origins) show a difference and respectability that commands respect. He wears the usual Kaeldar tribal clothing, meaning barely any, only nicer and with the markings of a high ranking officer. His boar is one of the largest seen as of late.
[edit] Biography
From an early age in the tribal lands of Kaeldar Mahalo Matai was trained to be a boar rider, practically born with a lance in his hand and an axe on his back. His father was also a boar rider, and when he had a son he knew his duty to Dai'ka was to train his son to be the greatest boar rider and soldier in the history of Kaeldar. While this is debatable, he has admirable skill as both a rider and a soldier. Quickly rising through the ranks he soon found himself subcommander, and with huge responsibilities being given to him, he has worked harder. All of this aged him immensely, although he is still in physical prime. Having been trained his whole life, he did not particularly know his parents personally, so thought nothing when leaving his tribes.
