Welcome to the Sphere tutorial. It will uide you through your very first steps in Sphere.

First, as always, goes the installation. Download the actual sphere release here:

Then, unzip sphere-binaries.zip to your new sphere directory. Extract all files in sphere-dlls.zip there, too.

Open your sphere directory. You should see two .exe files: editor.exe and engine.exe Now start editor.exe. You should see a gray screen with a menubar at the top and a status bar at the bottom.

Congrulations! You have succesfully installed Sphere and started the development environment.
