Astroturfing refers to the posting of political spam involving deceptive self-promotion or promotion on behalf of an ideology, candidate or political party. It can be found on forums as well as in the "Letters to the Editor" section of newspapers. Ahmed and Camel says that Beyond Babylon astroturfs crap from his blog on Speakeasy.
