Bongo storm is an il ragnoism describing any time a place normally inhabited mainly by whites becomes inundated with unusually large numbers of black people, particularly of the rowdy, criminal type. This term was first used on Speakeasy in this classic Hurricane Katrina-era thread: Baton Rouge Becoming Baghdad II. Can be modified as to severity of the Bongo Storm by use of the Bongo number system, i.e. 'Catagory 5' Bongo storm.
