Terra's Prayer

The Terra's Prayer is one of the seven Fate Distortion Crystals from Control of Destiny 2. When the events of the first Control of Destiny Campaign damaged the Elemental Seal, the Terra's Prayer became linked to the dimension of Sunscorch. It is a powerful source of earth magic.

The Terra's Prayer was used by the Kingdom of Lekuan to tame the blasted earth of Sunscorch into becoming fertile, or at least fertile enough for them to scratch out a living in the sands. It wasn't until later that they realized the unstable power of the crystal had put their entire city at its mercy, and put it under heavy guard to prevent disasters that would occur if the gem ever left the Urojea mountaintop.

Like the other six crystals, the Terra's Prayer was created by the Treesians of the Old Universe. The Oracle of Yaanek was the soul sacrificed in order to make the gem. And as with the other crystals, as the seal began to fail, energy from the seal began to restore the mind of the Oracle. The embodiment of the patience of the earth, the Oracle reached out across the dimensions to find a champion of the earth and decided upon Matt Trihus, an inventor from Jasonia that was aware of the consequences of uncontrolled science and was attempting to protect the environment while still progresing his work.

Matt was fourth of the seven to "bond" with his crystal. He gained mastery over it after investigating unusual readings in the Snowbound mountains and confronting the Oracle of Yaaken herself.
