Elemental Seal

The Elemental Seal was created by Treesians of the Old Universe as an attempt to halt dimensional travel. Using the power of the Fate Distortion Crystals created from the souls of mortal champions, the Elemental Seal was formed. The effort was unsuccessful in saving the Old Unvierse; however, it survived the formation of our current universe and protected the multiverse from dimensional travel for millions of years.

Over time, power seeping back into the Fate Distortion Crystals caused the Elemental Seal to weaken. Although the dimensions of the multiverse never came in direct contact, portals where people could push through the dimensional walls began appearing. Soon, a lightning strike was enough energy to generate a portal, and then they began appearing at random.

The second Control of Destiny Campaign restored the power of the Fate Distortion Crystals to the Elemental Seal and fixed the flaw in it’s design, barring dimenstional travel for good.
