BGI is the micronational community’s only known video game creation team. It was founded by Bill Trihus and Jason Steffke and was one of the many things to come out of the Golden Age of the Flying Islands of Jasonia. The acronym originally stood for “Badass Games Industries” but was changed several years later to “Bill’s Games Incorporated.” Since both names were somewhat embarrassing to tell to people, everyone just referred to it as BGI, and indeed the group’s name has BECOME BGI: an acronym that stands for nothing.

BGI’s main creations have been the Control of Destiny Series of games. Both Jasonia: the Dark One (entire game) and Jasonia: the Light of Hope (longish “demo” version) were released in 2000. Control of Destiny 2 was released several times afterward, the most recent on Febuary 19th, 2003 which was, un-coincidentally, Jasonia Day, the day that the FIoJ was founded.

BGI has had headquarters forums at Shireroth, Treesia, and Menelmacar where it took polls and suggestions for imput into the games and announced release dates. BGI also took place in the goods-based economy lead by the ICEO at Jasonia and their products were one of the major contributors to the simulation.

Currently, BGI has no headquarters forum and is not part of any economic simulation. As Bill and Jason’s storytelling skills and standards for graphics and perfectionism increased, products became harder and more time consuming to release, taking hundreds or thousands of hours of labor. Still, both Bill and Jason hover around micronationalism and, if asked, steadfastly insist they should have another game done “sometime soon,” so all hope for another BGI product is not lost.
