General skills

Scholars use magical tomes filled with ancient magical knowledge to power their attacks. They use the incantations within these books to cast magic without the cost of MP. However, books only contain a limited number of spells, and Scholars must study to be able to read higher-level incantations.

Stats

• Good stats: Magic Power, Magic Defense
• Bad stats: Strength, Defense

Support

Able to use books as other classes, although not as effectively.

Reaction

Use Reaction Spell in equipped book.

Masters

Notes

Scholars gain skills based on the book equipped. Some books cannot be used if the Scholar has yet to learn the appropriate "Tome Skill". Their low physical defense counteracts their awesome magical abilities.

Books contain at least one spell per level, but may not have every level - early books found may only have 2 or 3 levels of spells. Books also have specified "Reaction Spells" which are used if the Reaction Skill is equipped.
