Appearance

Two of the first things people notice about JiSoon is his snow-white complexion and a pair of almost non-Asian big eyes, as they make an oddly pretty combination with the color of his hair (black, silky-straight, with the tips touching his neck). His cheekbones and delicate features tend to make people think he is a a very feminine boy, but his height and built tell a different story. He's one of the tallest in his class and packs appropriate muscles of one who is active in Judo and Baseball. JiSoon carries himself with easy grace and almost never appear ruffled. His uniform is tidy and when he's not wearing his uniform, he usually goes for long-sleeved sweatshirt or sweaters.

History

JiSoon was born and raised in Busan, South Korea. His happy, liberal Korean family consists of a mother, a father, and four girls (JiMin, JiYeon, JiHyun, JiHye - all older), and himself. His parents honestly thought they were going to get another baby girl, hence the feminine name. In fourth grade, JiSoon contracted a combination of Typhoid and Chicken Pox, resulting in him missing a whole school year, which was why he was older than most of his friends. JiSoon was overprotected and raised under close inspection by his sisters and his mother (Dad mainly took care of their restaurant chain business). During the year he was sick, he took interest in what his sisters and her mother did since there was no one else he could interact with. The side effect to this was him doing well in cooking, knitting, self-grooming, house-grooming, and even make-up to some extent.

JiSoon learned that most boys his age didn't act like him, so he joined baseball and took up Tae Kwon Do to strengthen his physique. This didn't stop him from doing what he loved to do, though; he only didn't talk about them much. Sometimes he still sat with his legs closed or covered his mouth while laughing. JiSoon was also introduced to the art of pottery around this time and decided that it was therapeutic, and a good training for his patience.

At one point, JiSoon got tired of keeping a masculine appearance, so he stopped. He assured his parents that he wasn't gay (didn't tell them he was bi) and went to being the pretty guy in junior high who aced Home Ec, made potteries, and beat up those who called him a pansy. Then he heard about Second Heaven from a friend and liked the sound of it. His brain could afford it, his parents could afford it, and he'd been itching for experience (and acceptance) outside his country. Off he went.

Personality

Keywords: comforting, conflict-avoidant, easygoing, gentle, graceful, patient, playful, protective, sensual, warm.

JiSoon exudes sensuality in a not-too-subtle, androgynous way. This intimidates people, at first, but if they take the time to talk to him for a moment, they usually warm up. He might be a bit too effeminate for some people's taste, but he compensates by dating girls and being completely charming at it. Doesn't mean he wouldn't date guys, though.

JiSoon isn't exactly a social butterfly, but he tries to talk to a lot of people. He loves interacting with people and making them comfortable. Whether you're a guy or a girl, if you attract him, he'll most likely come up and talk to you. His approach is soft-spoken greetings, soft laughs (with his hand covering his mouth), and gentle smiles.

JiSoon is like a chameleon. Somewhat. He molds himself into what is accepted between his peers (unless it contradicts his belief) and prefers walking away from an argument/conflict than confronting it. Sometimes he does it without even realizing it, even. He's also severely protective of people he cares about.

JiSoon also has housewife (or house-husband) tendencies. His goal is to marry well (to a man or woman), be stay-at-home spouse, parent, and a ceramic-artist. Exactly in that order.
