Appearance

A neat-freak in every sense of the word, Christopher lays his clothes out every night, making sure that nothing is out of order. In fact, nothing is quite ever out of place—not even a strand of hair. He dislikes bad hair days and will do anything to get his hair to behave. Of a fairly average height and build (for an Asian, anyway), he has prominent cheekbones that taper into a strong, determined jaw line. He can also look much older than he actually is, especially when he's exhausted and/or has had a long day. The majority of his clothes are formal or casual-formal at the very least, and when told to dress casually he's never quite sure what to do.

Christopher's PB is Huang ShanLiang (Ric).

Personality

Stiff and unyielding, Christopher rarely speaks outside of what is required of him. He has a strict sense of what he believes is write and wrong; from this, he sets his boundaries and seldom steps outside of them. Some might call him boring, and it is true that he's never lived his life just for the fun of it. He believes that he is happy—or at least content—with how things are. However, just like with many other people, his life is far from perfect, and he has never had the chance to miss the things he's never had.

Christopher is strongly moralistic, though for what reasons even he is unsure about. There are simply certain things that, to him, are right and wrong, and although he might tolerate some lack of discipline in others, he will not allow himself to let go of his own restraint—he will not overindulge, nor will he consume any sort of alcoholic beverage, whether in celebration or otherwise. Somewhere in his subconscious, he also blames his sister and parents' deaths on lack of discipline in the general world, and strives to make up for it by becoming what he believes is the "right" kind of person.

History

Not a particularly extraordinary history as histories go, at least in the beginning. Christopher was born in Rochester, New York, where his parents had recently moved to from Taiwan. Eager to Americanize and "become one" with their new country, they gave him an American birth name and quickly set off to make a living in the new world. However, when he was eight years old, his parents and younger sister were on the way home from a party (he was at a friend's house) when they were killed in an accident caused by a drunk driver.

When it was discovered that Christopher had no other relatives in the United States and none that they could find in China (they might as well have not existed), he was sent to Japan to live with his aunt and uncle, who were mostly absent and somewhat distant whenever they were actually around. However, he had little to complain about: he was healthy as far as physical health was concerned, and they made sure he received a more-than-decent education that included Japanese—as well as the Chinese language, which he had previously neglected. Perhaps they thought that it was best not to abandon their roots.

As much as he could be, Christopher was a "good son"—or rather, nephew—to them. He studied hard in school, did everything that he was supposed to, and supported them in every way that he could, even surprising them by coping quietly with his sister and parents' deaths. When he finished college, he moved around doing an assortment of small jobs until he was chosen to teach at Second Heaven. A stoic but talented enough teacher, he makes it known that he's easygoing enough unless cheating or any sort of school code violation is involved.

Other Information

Birth Location: Rochester, New York, USA
Why Second Heaven?: A job is a job, and Second Heaven is a rather prestigious school at that.
Favourite color/food/activity/subject: White; ramen; working; his own?
Least favourite color/food/activity/subject: Purple; pizza; none (yet); English
Likes: Being alone, reading, people who don't bother him
Dislikes: Small crowds, large crowds, crowds of any kind...
Family: Aunt and uncle, around somewhere

Not readily visible Markings: A tattoo of some sort on his back; if anyone ever sees it for some reason, they'll notice that it depicts an Eastern-style dragon (rather overdone in today's world). If Christopher has it his way, no one will ever see it—he's been planning to get it removed, but hasn't quite had the time yet.
