NOTE: We're currently looking for some file hosting service or generous soul with his or her own web space that doesn't delete files that haven't been downloaded for 30 days, and doesn't take you to an odious special download page instead of letting you download files directly. If you know of one, please click on the "Discussion" tab above and give us the lowdown.
Track Icons
These track icons are yours for the taking. Just download them into SONAR's TrackIcons folder, or any subfolder thereof.
IMPORTANT: The in-line images you see on this page are PNGs can NOT be used in SONAR -- SONAR can only use BMP files.
To get the BMP files for use in SONAR, click on the "Get SONAR-Compatible BMP File" text links, or right click on these same text links and select "Save Target As..." or similar. Do NOT click on the pictures themselves.
(We would have put the BMPs directly on the site, but wikis don't allow these space-wasting files to be uploaded, hence the need for an external link. This is the best kluge we could find).
Icon Collections
Dave Modisette's extensive collection of SONAR track icons.
Tim Panella's hardware and software synths icon collection is available as a single .zip file (all items are also available individually below). 24 icons total as of October 3, 2006.
Elektroniqa's 312 software synth icon collection page has a full preview and 4mb ZIPfile download available.

Drum Maps
You'll undoubtedly have to make a few changes to drum maps made on other systems, such as choosing a MIDI port suitable for your project. To do this the easy way, select all list items in the Drum Map Manager and then choose the new value by holding down CTRL+SHFT while using the mouse.
