Psyche Project Page

Psyche is a project we started for SCALE 2003. It was designed to demonstrate speech recognition and speech synthesis on the GNU/Linux platform. Most of the original code was written by Steve Petrovits & Rick Wang. We had lines of people waiting to talk to Psyche at the show. It was a big hit and we will continue as long as interest holds up.

Psyche itself is basically a glue that cobbles together Sphinx and Festival along with a few other tools to provide speech recognition and speech synthesis.
