This song by The Count And His Men on their album The Chiselled Jaw of Fate was originally produced to end several "Pumpkin! Coheed!" tearful tantrums, to see what they'd look like mixed.

The result, however, was amazing. "This was due to two powerful acts, such strong forces, north and south," explained Rob Paterson clearly, "they sort of mated and it created this explosion of sound, but what an explosion!"

"The band found that performing this track was as good as having sex" Leonardo stated "However we have to stop Nathan editing the setlist or we'd end up playing it all the time, he's a bit like Pringles and this song popped him if youknowwhatimean"

Lyrics

You could've been all I wanted But you weren't honest Disarm you with a smile And cut you like you want me to

Now get in the ground You choked off the surest of favors Cut that little child Inside of me and such a part of you

But if you really loved me You would've endured my world

Ooh, the years burn Ooh, the years burn

Well you're just as I presumed A whore in sheep's clothing I used to be a little boy So old in my shoes

Fucking up all I do And if so here we stop And what I choose is my choice What's a boy supposed to do?

Then never again Will you see this in your life A killer in me is a killer in you My love I send this smile over to you

Hang on to the glory at my right hand Here laid to rest is our love ever longed Disarm you with a smile And leave you like they left me here

With truth on the shores of compassion You seem to take premise to all of these songs To wither in denial The bitterness of one who's left alone

Ooh, the years burn Ooh, the years burn, burn, burn

You stormed off to scar the armada Like Jesus played letter, I used to be a little boy So old in my shoes

I'll drill through your hands The stone for the curse you have blamed me And what I choose is my voice What's a boy supposed to do? With love and devotion, I'll die as you sleep But if you could just write me out

A killer in me is a killer in you My love

To neverless wonder... happy will I become Be true that this is no option, I send this smile over to you

So with sin i condemn you: demon play, demon out!

Hang on to the glory at my right hand Here laid to rest is our love ever longed

A killer in me is a killer in you Send this smile over to you

With truth on the shores of compassion You seem to take premise to all of these songs

One last kiss for you One more wish to you Please make up your mind girl... A killer in me is a killer in you Send this smile over to you

I'd do anything for you One last kiss for you One more wish to you Please make up your mind girl... A killer in me is a killer in you Send this smile over to you Before I hope you die
