Ouroboros is the term for the image of the snake eating it's tail, as seen in the top left corner of this window. It refers to an alchemical concept, as well as several other concepts, which you can find more about at Wikipedia

Ouroboros, the name, refers to several different aspects of the setting.

  • The cosmology, which mirrors the infinite cycle of the Oroboros, only in revverse.
  • The magic, which is primarily based on alchemists, who were one of the major users of the Ouroboros.
