A Mask is a term for a large, gorilla-esque creature that lives on Moch. Masks are, on rare occasions, found dwelling in the arctic regions of Terr.

Masks generally have large forearms, each of which are ended in a massive hook. They use these hooks to kill their prey, which in Moch is primarily the small rodent-creatures. Masks also have large frontal teeth which they use for crushing their prey once it is killed.

Masks are, rarely, domesticated, generally by mages who prefer to be left alone. To do such, they must (unless they live in the arctic regions) make magical alterations to allow them to live in the ordinary realm, which of course turn them into paramasks.
