Egotistic Introduction

Ouroboros is an experiment in an open-source creative work, with limited overarching design. Ouroboros is designed to be a fantasy setting, but with no large similarities to classic settings such as the Lord of the Rings, Conan the Barbarian, or Dungeons and Dragons. Rather, Ouroboros is designed to be a setting which purposefully distances itself from classical fantasy in several ways.

However, since any rational mind could plainly see that such a design probably could not work in a "natural" setting. Therefore, there are a few ground rules that you should see, and follow at all times. These are not just code of conduct rules, like no screwing around with other User pages or things like that, but also notes on how you should react to rulebreaking and several design notes, all chosen with the soul purpose of trying to mold a large number of minds into a single one.

Ouroboros is created and watched by Cyclone, or in many incarnations, Cyclone231. He is, in a way, the god of this tiny realm, though you can only pray that he does not lord it over you in some sick mockery of rational thought.

Egotistic Instruction

Firstly, check out the rules. Then, acting on all of these rules in a responsible manner that includes reading them, go forth and edit the pages.

While editting pages, please keep in mind the rules and good tast.. When creating pages, please keep in mind the rules, good taste, and good taste. That means nothing which happens to be any of the following:

• Derivative
• Retarded
• Idiotic
• Dumb
• Stupid

If a page you made was deleted by an administrator or moderator, and there is no explanation, do not simply add it back in. If the text of the page was removed by a malicious user, simply report it and revert the page.
