Ect Naykob

The only other life-form on the planet Cyxon Mox besides the Mhoro Hor, these bird-like scavangers form an interesting ecological cycle with their food source. With such a limited supply of food on the planet, the Ect Naykob are forced to try and eat dead Mhoro Hor. However, without being able to tell if the Mhoro Hor are dead when they swoop in, as often as not they are eaten by what they thought would be food.

[edit] Appearance

The Ect Naykob are sand-colored, with long, elegant tails. Their heads have the ability to swivel 360 degrees, and their beaks are incredibly sharp and sturdy. Their beaks are rivaled only by their claws, which are rumored to be able to scratch metal. They possess roughly a six foot wingspan, and can fly upwards of forty miles an hour.

These birds are peaceful by nature, contradictory to their powerful natural weapons. They mainly nest and mate high above the desert floor in the walls of rocky outcrops. They will not harm humans unless provoked. They also possess a beautiful and mysterious mating call which is said to bring good fortune to those who hear it.
