What kind of wand does your character possess? 11” Elder wood with dragon heartstring core.

Does your character own a broom? Which brand? *Nimbus with mod permission only* Nimbus if possible because ideally I’d like him on, to have been on the Quidditch team. If not, then that’s cool, means he’s stuck with a Shooting Star and is desperate to upgrade.

Describe your character’s strengths (both magically and personality-wise. Please note that Animagi and Metamorphmagi, etc. are extremely rare and you MUST have Mod Permission.):

Fiery is probably the best way to describe Remy! He’s stubborn, blunt, and has a fierce temper that can flare up in an instant. He’s incredibly proud, always has to have the last word about anything, and hates to lose ANY sort of competition. Remy tends to keep a small, intimate circle of friends, although he’s not in the slightest bit picky about who those friends are; as long as they prove themselves to him, he’s happy to know them. He loves to flirt, and is a real charmer; with those big brown eyes, who can possibly resist him? He’s wicked and witty, and devilishly charming, but he can so often get himself into horrible situations with those exact traits. He’s incredibly protective over anything close to his heart, and although he can be a real sweetheart, it’s a very lucky person who will ever get to see that side of him. He always has to be one step ahead, and he cloaks himself in who everybody perceives him to be. He’s no good with words and romantic sentiments, but he can touch and hold and kiss, and make anyone in his arms feel utterly adored. He’s also a very talented sailor and windsurfer, and adores anything to do with water or watersports. He’s a keen Quidditch player, and is also well known for organising impromptu rugby or football games at weekends when he’s bored and has too much energy. Basically, anything physical keeps Remy ridiculously happy. He’s never been very good at the theory side of things, lessons included, which means that his best subjects are Charms and Transfiguration, where he excels.

Describe your character’s flaws/weaknesses:

Remy’s known for his temper, and has a frighteningly glaring problem with violence. Two years ago he was thrown off the Quidditch team for punching a teacher. The previous year, he regularly got into fights and showed no regard for any punishment he might have been given. He still has a very short fuse, partly out of frustration with still being tied down in a lot of respects, and partly out of a innate inability to calm himself down and stop himself shooting his mouth off. He’s also severely claustrophobic, incredibly proud, and ridiculously stubborn, which makes him incredibly argumentative. He’s seen by a lot of people (understandably) to be arrogant and self-serving, but that’s pretty much a defence mechanism; people he does like, he loves with a passion.

School wise, he’s awful at theory subjects as he just can’t concentrate for long enough. He hates Potions, Arithmany, History of Magic, but oddly enough, enjoys Ancient Runes enough to be taking it as a NEWT subject.

Remy’s pretty much reached his adult height now, and is a healthy 6’2”, with an athletic body to match, and dark chocolatey brown eyes. He’s toned and keeps himself in good shape from years of sailing, windsurfing, rugby, and playing Chaser at Quidditch. His hair has grown out slightly during his absence so that it falls nicely just over his face, and the colour is a light sandy brown.

Clothes wise, Remy has an great sense of style, and prefers to adopt the look known as ‘dishevelled’. He likes Muggle labels, and when not in school robes, generally wears casual surfer-style apparel - loose jeans, button-down shirts or a labelled t-shirt and hoody. He also usually has some sort of necklace on, and leather or urban bracelets on both of his wrists.

Is your character Muggle born, a half breed, or a pureblood? Explain it. Muggleborn. He was born in Cerne Abbas, Dorset, and is a wizard through a couple of relatives a few generations back. His mother knew but never voiced this fact; he always wondered why she wasn’t as surprised as his father when he got his acceptance letter.

He has one younger brother, Matthieu, who I may ask to introduce as a first year Hufflepuff later on but I’m not definite on that. He’s very Muggle in a lot of ways, and is still quite impressed by everything that magic can do; he never ever gets bored of it.

Character Background/History:

Born in Cerne Abbas, Dorset to Muggle parents, Remy grew up in a warm household without any sort of want in the world. He has one younger brother, Matthieu who has just started Hogwarts this year and was sorted into Hufflepuff. His mother, Abigail, is a nurse at the local hospital and his father, John, owns a well-respected estate agents. He’s a typical middleclass country lad with great aspirations in the world; and he doesn’t always mind stepping on and over other people to get there.

He started Hogwarts off fairly well, and exceeds in the subjects he likes, but he’s well known for his awful temper and lack of discipline elsewhere. He’s got a fairly solid reputation which he likes to keep intact and preceeding him by miles.

As of 15th November 2005 (date IG) Remy is going out with Christian Daniel "Danny" Parker. It's going surprisingly well, and he's not quite sure how he's managing it, but he's falling for Danny pretty fast. Time will tell how things work out between the boys.
