A former Gryffindor, Geoffrey Chandler is the youngest child of four, and the only half-blood among his siblings, his mother having been a Muggleborn in addition to being his father's second wife.
Geoffrey is very personable and charming – he dates lots of people (male and female) and they all like him and none of them ever seem to be mad at him after the break up, and while he may not be the greatest of magicians, everyone seems to like him. He's also extraordinarily lucky, which is probably the biggest thing that sets him apart from his youngest nephew, Gillichu. The man's on the tall side at 6'3", and he has a tanned complexion with longish blond hair that nearly reaches his shoulders, a stubbly-chin, and is pretty good looking.
Strengths, Weaknesses, and Fears
A happy-go-lucky playboy, Geoffrey's always on the go and looking for his adventure. He's short on responsibility and maturity, but long on luck, which likely explains how he's managed to survive as long as he has. It doesn't hurt that he's very personable, a great asset when it comes to seducing members of either sex. Geoffrey's a nice guy all-around, just more of a boy than a man when it comes to maturity, and it shows.

Like many other members of his family, Geoffrey speaks fluent Welsh in addition to English. Also, because he's spent much of his adult life travelling the globe, Geoffrey has picked up enough that he can hold mostly a conversation in a dozen or more different languages. Recently he's concentrated on his Japanese (tutored by Victoria Bloom and her son Amaury) because of the amount of time he expects to spend in that country in the near future.
Not the most understanding or tactful of people when it comes to other peoples problems, Geoffrey has a bad tendency of putting his foot in his mouth when called upon to be more mature than his usual standard. He doesn't always know when to stop when it comes to his flirtations, and has put himself in some uncomfortable situations because of this in the past. Will (and, on more than one occasion, has) leap before he looks. Additionally, he has an unfortunate and inexplicable fear of commanding, older women of the severe and matriarchal variety. Has behind others who are half his age (and size) in the past in order to escape their fearsome, reptilian gaze. Tends to blame this fear on Blodwyn, a distant cousin of his (and also his sister Rhianwen's sister-in-law).
Family, Etc.
Geoffrey is the half-brother of Howell, Addiena, and Rhianwen. His mother, Elise (née Hamil) is a Muggleborn witch and very much a "sweet young thing" that his father, Kynan, married sometime after the death of his first wife. Because the Chandler family in general was not entirely happy about the engagement, both Elise and Kynan drank some Felix Felicis (a wedding gift from one of Kynan's children) the day of their wedding in order to ensure that the wedding would go off without a hitch. As it turned out, Geoffrey was also conceived that night, and as a result some of the concentrated "luck" in the potion seems to transferred Geoffrey himself. He's been something of a playboy since his teenage years, and more recently spends his time travelling and running errands for his old headmaster.
He's closest to his sister Rhianwen, and has an equally close relationship with her son ,Gillichu.
