Describe your character’s strengths (both magically and personality-wise. Please note that Animagi and Metamorphmagi, etc. are extremely rare and you MUST have Mod Permission.): Nimuë excels at Charms, particularly jinxes, hexes, and curses – though her adeptness at these may be because of her short temper and unforgiving nature. Aside from Charms, Nimuë does slightly above-average work in Transfiguration and Potions, and average work in History of Magic and Herbology. Though a second year, she already has a basic understanding of the principles of Divination, having been taught them by her mother as a child. Outside of schoolwork, Nimuë has a shrewd and somewhat calculating personality, which can get her into trouble just as easily as it can get her out of it.

Describe your character’s flaws/weaknesses: Nimuë is woefully inadequate when it comes to Defense Against the Dark Arts... possibly because she would much rather attack than defend, though no one has ever bothered to confirm this. As previously stated, she tends to be shrewd and calculating, both of which are personality traits that can put other people off. She rarely loses her cool, though her brother Gillichu can easily manage to push her buttons every time.

Describe your character's physical attributes. If you have a preferred PB, state it here -- although check the list (http://www.livejournal.com/community/hihnp_ooc/121506.html) first!: Nimuë has pale blonde hair that falls to the middle of her back, no fringe, and green eyes. She'll be something of beauty when she's older, though she has yet to truly "bloom." She stands at 5" (an inch taller than her brother, this annoys him constantly) and still retains a little babyfat, though it's likely she'll lose this sometime before her third year. PB is Danielle Churchran.

Is your character Muggle born, a half-blood, or a pureblood? Explain it. Nimuë is pureblood and comes from an old and very distinguished pureblood family, though her family does perform business deals with Muggles on a regular basis. Blood status does not put Nimuë off – anyone can prove to be a good connection if they possess power/access to power that can be exploited.

Character Background/History: Nimuë grew up in Wales and as a child most of her playmates were her cousins (all older than her), though she did meet other wizarding children on occasion at her parents' social events. She gets on well with her family (her cousin Nimue Covey in particular, despite the fact that they have practically the same names), with the exception of her brother, whom few of the Chandlers really understand. In her first year, Nimuë started working on the fine old family tradition of world domination through business connections, and she continues to work on this now. Gillichu likes to say that she's a Mistress of Evil in training, but really – Nimuë just knows how to play the system.
