Now Playing! was created by HackerGroupie in May of 2005 as part of the LJ community Hogwarts is Home. It was a place for members to roleplay, earn points, and meet people. The commnity grew over the span of a few months, and in February 2006, became its own community, no longer a part of HiH.
The roleplay focuses on original characters, as in, characters that the player thinks up and creates on their own.
