She likes to be the center of attention, and tend to think about herself before others. This can make her somewhat of a brat. She also has quite the mouth, and usually speaks before she knows what she is saying. This can get her in all sorts of trouble, which she usually deals with by removing herself from the situation.

-	Describe your character’s strengths: A bit of a book worm, when she's left alone she can get things done quickly. She has the nice ability of making people laugh when they are feeling at their worst. Tends to be very outgoing and likes to be the life of th crowd. In dangerous situations, Rain chooses to run rather than fight, and would like to back up her friends rather than lead them. Magically speaking, she preforms best at Charms, Potions and Arthimacy, anything with exact measurements, she likes black and white answers.	+	Rain had a fairly normal upbringing. She knew both of the muggle world and the wizarding world. Her parents always taught her to judge people by who they were inside, not by blood or class. Although Rain didn’t always get everything she wanted, her parents were far from poor. She was also usually the center of their attention as she was an only child.
-	Describe your character’s flaws/weaknesses: She's a little bad at keeping her mouth shut when she should, especially in class. Some people may think that she's annoying because she likes to talk constantly, and has to be the center of attention. Again, magically speaking, she is a little bit of a coward when it comes to DADA, so she struggles a bit there. Also, she finds care of magical creatures annoying at best, because animals seem to sense the fact that she's really afraid of them. She also is terrified of flying and avoids flying lessons at all costs.	+	When Rain was about 6 years old, she decided to play a game of hide and seek with a couple of muggle friends from school. Rain thought she had found a perfect spot near a tree and tried to hide there. She found that this spot was already occupied by a rather large dog. The dog was quite unfriendly, and left Rain with a scar on her right leg. She has yet to forget this incident and it is what has made her afraid of animals in general.
-	Describe your character's physical attributes: Long blonde hair and brown eyes. Slender build and fair skin. She is about 5'5" Besides her robes, she likes casual clothes, a bit of a t-shirt and jeans type of girl. My preferred PB is Jordan-Claire Green.	+	Rain began to show magical tendencies when she was 5 and she unlocked her mother’s jewellery box without the key in order to play dress-up. Her parents were extremely proud when she received her Hogwarts letter.
-	Is your character Muggle born, a half breed, or a pureblood? Her mother, Annabelle, is a muggle, with no magic in the family. She worked as a travel magazine photographer before meeting Rain's father, River, on a trip to China. River was also working as a photographer, for a wizard travel magazine, so they explored the world together before settling down in England. River's family, a mixture of muggles and wizards, accepted Annabelle immediately and she took very well to the wizard environment. Annabelle quit her job to become a full time mother and River got transferred to local photography for a newspaper.	+	== Classes ==

-	Rain was brought up in a normal wizarding environment, knowing full well that her mother was a muggle and her Dad was a wizard. She was sent to a normal muggle school for her earlier education, so she has some muggle friends that she sees during the Christmas, Easter, and summer breaks. Her father also went to Hogwarts, where he was sorted into Gryffindor. Rain is an only child and wouldn't have it any other way. She loves the attention!	+	*[[Arithmancy]]

Rain Mansfield
